Some people are born into privilege while others are born into poverty. Some are born to have it easy while others are born to have it hard. But one
thing is for certain...things change. Her life began with the utmost normalcy. She was a quiet child despite having to fight for the attention of her parents due to
three other children in the house, but her home life was good. Things changed, however, when she turned seventeen and compared to how normal her life started out... It
turned absolutely abnormal in the blink of an an eye.
Saden "Sadee" Barrett Shaw was born into a middle class family in Madison, TN. The family was not rich, but they were not poor either. With three kids to feed,
cloth and get through school, Daniel and Emma Shaw were always on a tight budget, but they made it work. Especially by the time their youngest child, Sadee, was in
Junior High School. By that time, their two oldest children were in college - both on scholarship - so their budget opened up quite a bit. This did not bother Sadee
much. She did well in entertaining herself, only causing trouble for her parents when the need for attention washed over her. Most of the time, she did well being left
to her own devices. She stayed out of trouble and focused on school and picking up various hobbies like dancing, karate, playing soccer and even trying a few musical
instruments.
Her grades remained decent throughout school. Much like her siblings, who received “Straight A's,” Sadee was bright but unlike them...she did not benefit from
being in a classroom as much. She was much more into learning what the world could teach her and not what came from a book or a teacher. As she got older, school
became more of a social gathering for her than an actual learning institution. By the time she entered Junior High, she had turned from a cute child into a blonde
bombshell and so making friends or grabbing the attention of boys was not difficult for her. Her father and her brother were not too keen on the attention that she
received, but secretly, Sadee loved it. Especially when she was nominated for things like Homecoming Court and Prom Queen.
However, it was near the beginning of her senior year in high school when things took a turn for the worst. With her three other siblings out of the house and in
college, it was revealed that Sadee's mother had taken up with another man. Turns out, this had been happening – on and off – for years, but Daniel and Emma hid it
from their children. But now, Emma was all but done with Daniel and requesting a divorce. She moved out of the house, leaving Sadee to contend with her depressed and
coping father. But there was nothing that Sadee could do. The depression was too much for Daniel to handle and he broke. After kidnapping a woman that resembled Emma,
he raped and murdered her before killing himself.
Sadee was left alone. Her mother came back around just long enough to make everyone think that she cared when really, she didn't. As soon as the funeral was over,
she left Sadee alone in the house that she had grown up in. Though the house was paid for, Sadee had to get a job in order to pay the bills and buy food. Whenever
questioned, Sadee just told someone that she lived with a grandmother that had come to take care of her so that her mother did not have to do it. No one ever
questioned it.
For the next few years, Sadee continued to work a variety of different jobs. From sales associate to fast food, she did a little bit of everything while managing
to graduate from high school. Eventually, she found a steady job working at a strip club in her home town of Nashville. It was actually perfect for her. She loved to
dance, she liked the attention and it was a bit of a thrill. It was something that she never seemed to get tired of. The only problem was that people tended to look
down on her because of her occupation, but she learned to deal with that. She eventually learned to brush other people's opinions of her off of her shoulders and that
made her life better over all.
Men came and went out of her life. All of them were better off somewhere else because not one of them actually loved her. Most of them were mean to her, others
simply used her for sex and many cheated on her. Eventually, she just got used to having someone around so that she wouldn't be completely lonely but she never let
herself love any of them. That is, until Tank Warren walked into her club. He was gorgeous and sweet, but Sadee did not take to him so quickly. He was in the process
of a divorce and though he seemed very into her, she wasn't entirely sure that he could be trusted. He came to the club to see her often, but past a few flirty text
messages and those visits, it never went beyond that.
Still, Sadee found herself becoming attached to him in spite of wanting otherwise. But a second guy came in between them. Sam was a fan, or so he said. Sadee was
not ever sure that she had seen him in the club but he was somehow able to get her contact information. They started texting and... Sadee gave him the benefit of the
doubt. The guy acted like he needed friends and Sadee wanted to be that for him, but that was the wrong decision for her to make. After just a few weeks of talking,
Sam become unnaturally attached to Sadee. He would send her creepy messages, all but saying that he would be dead without her in his life. Sadee had no idea what to
take from it and eventually cut off all contact with him. And, with Tank having not shown any other interest than coming to the club, she thought that moving out of
Nashville might have been a good idea.
After packing up and going to Las Vegas for several weeks, Sadee had every intention of moving there for good. She loved it. It was like a dream and the perfect
place for her to restart her life where no one knew her. But, she had to go back to Nashville long enough to pack up her apartment and tie up loose ends. From the
airport, she went straight to the club to say goodbye to the other girls and her boss. And, who was there, but Tank. Sadee did her best to ignore him and get out. She
thought it worked until, just after she had gotten home, there was a knock on her door. It was Tank, having followed her home, and he wanted to talk.
Waking up that next morning, Sadee thought that she might have had a reason to stay... but Tank was gone. She waited for him, but he never called or texted. Sadee
was heartbroken and needed a fresh start. So, this time, she picked a place on the map and that was Austin. Without a second thought, she packed up her apartment and
moved to Texas. However, during that one night with him... Sadee had gotten pregnant. She had been too depressed and heartbroken to even notice that she was fourteen
weeks pregnant with a little girl. All of the moving, lifting heavy boxes and stress, took it's toll on her and she miscarried.
The miscarriage was a horrible experience, especially given that all Sadee really wanted out of life was love and a family. For a few weeks after, she struggled
with whether or not she should try and contact Tank to tell him. Whether it was worth his heartbreak or finding out that he really did not care. Sadee decided that he
deserved to know either way and so she sent him an e-mail to the only email address that she had for him.
Turns out, he still checked that e-mail and...he was in Austin. He was heartbroken as well and concerned for her. He wanted to see her and...Sadee let him come
over. It was then that she found out he had run... After just ending a marriage, he was scared of what he felt for her and he ran. But fate brought them back together
again and, this time, he wasn't going to let it go.
Two months after that date, Tank proposed and these days... Sadee was happier than she had ever been. Coming home from a job that she loved and to take care of him
was the only thing that she has ever wanted. But it didn't last...with all of the pain and heartache, she thought she had finally gotten what she wanted. But what she
learned was there would always always be bumps for her along the way. After moving back to Nashville for work, Tank became distant. Slowly, he stopped calling as
much and stopped making his weekend trips to Austin to see her. The more time passed, the more Sadee knew something was going on - but she didn't want to admit.
Eventually, she found that she had something else to worry about - Sam was back.
One day, out of the blue, a man walked into her office. Before the meeting was through - and out of a scene from Mission: Impossible - the man revealed himself to
be her former stalker in disguise. Not only was Sadee horrified, but she was confused. How could a man as down and out as "Sam" manage to hunt her down and come to
her in full blown movie makeup? As it turned out, "Sam" was actually "Peter Reiche" better known as "Johnny Suave" and about hundred other names that he went by
throughout his life. Peter Reiche, however, was his most public face - as the head of a movie studio to cover his real life "job" as Boss of the Garabedian family. A
crime family that supposedly self-destructed long ago, but that wasn't the case.
His obsession with Sadee had gone much farther than a year and half and few meetings and text message conversations. He had her under serious surveillance for
more than two years and knew where she had been all along. After waiting and waiting, Peter had come to Austin to take possession of what he thought was his. He
gave
her two weeks and every option before kidnapping her to his home in Las Vegas. It was there that he revealed alleged proof of Tank's infidelity, ultimately breaking
Sadee down. After weeks of resisting, she eventually gave into him. She dropped her engagement ring into the bottom of the pool and slept with the infamous Johnny
Suave for the first time.
Her initiation into a darker life came when her mother and step-father showed up. They were worse stalkers than her new lover and Sadee was unbelievably angry at
their appearance there. Sadee's parents were never seen again after entering that house. No one, not even Suave's closest companions, know exactly what happened to
them but rumors ran rampant that while Suave took care of her rapist, step-father, Sadee left with blood on her hands, too - her mother's. The bodies were tossed off
to a low level member of the family to dispose of - the only mistake Suave has made as that shotty disposal nearly got them all taken to jail.
Suave took care of it. And while he did so, he and Sadee distracted with a $2 million wedding in Italy. On the outside, the two were unbreakable. On the inside,
major cracks were wearing them down already but both were battling for a stronger foundation. Sadee had adopted the motto "fake it until you make it" and smiled her
way into the hearts of just about anyone - even though the blood on her hands and the bodies in her mind got heavier every day. Eventually, Suave made one mistake -
but it was the biggest mistake. He made it well-known (whether true or not, it was true enough for Sadee) that he did not love her. That he was obsessed with her but
he did not love her...and that was the last straw.
It was hard to know whether Sadee was trying to get herself killed or just piss him off. The line between the two was slim. But the one thing she did manage to
do was land herself in the bed of one of Suave's biggest enemies. It all happened so fast. They slept together and then...she was gone. She pulled her final
disappearing act and when she was found again, it was in LA - under the protection of Salvatore Rezza, who was quickly finding himself as entranced with the young
blonde as her former husband had been. The difference? He was falling in love. Sadee? Well, she was blocked - blocked with a brick wall surrounding her heart and
she couldn't quite get it to break down. She's working on it. So far, he's been much more of a lover than her ex had ever been. But...the once perky, sweethearted
Sadee is a different person, a less trusting person, an unhappier person. And, well...she never knows who to trust or when and, like she should be, is cautious of who
she lets in.
